If you read the last blog post about mice you will understand the title. For the second time in several months I have had a customer that had treadmill issues that were the result of mice. The second episode was a treadmill that had been stored in a garage and then in a semi-enclosed porch. The treadmill would not operate. After removing the motor cover I found a large mouse/rats nest. There were also signs of the mouses bodily functions (you know what I mean) and the electronics were damaged. The end result was that it would be to costly to repair this expensive commercial treadmill as the parts would have cost several thousand dollars.
The moral of this story is "Beware of mice lurking in your treadmills".
