Treadmills Are Dust & Hair Magnets

One of the issues that cause treadmills to break down or have problems is dust, dirt and hair.   For some reason treadmills seem to work like a magnet for dust and hair, especially animal hair.  This can cause multiple problems, including shorting out the electronics under the motor cover.  There have been times when we complete service on treadmills that we actually completely fill the small Shop Vac with dust and hair.  This is why you need to have regular scheduled maintenance.  In the long run it will save you repair expense.
