Fitness Equipment Purchases

When purchasing equipment it is very important to make sure that you check out the manufacturer's warranty.  The manufacturer's of most quality equipment warranty the drive motor on treadmills for at least 10 years and many warranty them for the life of the equipment as long as you are the original purchaser.  Some companies warranty the other non-wear parts for 5 years, which is a great feature.  Be aware that there are companies that only give a 90 day parts and labor warranty on their lower end models.  I highly recommend staying away from these models with only 90 day warranties as your first repair may cost you more than the difference in price between a cheap model and a much better model with a longer warranty.
